Wanda Davis Receives Special Recognition from Cleveland City Council
ASC3 Executive Director received a Cleveland Leadership Award 2016 recently along with a Resolution of Recognition from Cleveland City Council.
Cleveland Leadership Award, 2016 Presented to WANDA DAVIS Founder, Executive Director Ashbury Senior Computer Community Center (ASC3) For your 30+ years of dedication and service to Ashbury, Glenville, University Circle, and other Cleveland neighborhoods. Thank you for your tireless efforts of E-POWERing the community, because of ASC3, over 6000 seniors are digitally literate and over 1200 families are connected. You are the true example of your own motto: "The ability to learn is ageless." Perhaps Mahatma Ghandi said it best, "YOU be the CHANGE you wish to see in THE WORLD." And our own corner of the world is a better place because of you. "Moved beyond bridging the gap and digital divide." Awarded by Councilman Kevin Conwell, City of Cleveland Ward 9, Yvonne Conwell, Council Woman, Frank Jackson, Mayor |
